The answer is definitely No!
As per the estimates, AI is going to take 50% of jobs away by the next 30 years. The reason being that Robots are better than human when given a task of automation or solving complex problems. And, with the advancements in the Field of AI, it is going to be tough for middle-class professionals to survive in the battle of being the Superior.
Below are some stats that shows how rapidly the AI is growing:
One can clearly see the constantly increasing number of shipments of Robot in Asia(especially China).
This graph clearly shows the increase in Revenue generated by shipment of Robots in North America.
I personally believe that the constant rise in Robotics and AI could lead to more unemployment, even more than 50%. That been said, there will still be the requirements of Expert Professionals for Handling, and further research on AI.
According to Professor Moshe Vardi:
We are approaching a time when machines will be able to outperform humans at almost any time.
The robots haven’t just landed in the workplace, they’re expanding skills, moving up the corporate ladder, showing awesome productivity and retention rates, and increasingly shoving aside their human counterparts.
So, as we can clearly see that such changes can be painful for workers whose skills no longer match the needs of employers. And eventually, Artificial Intelligence is going to take more jobs than it creates.
